Dr. Julie Kruse

I was born in Everett, WA in 1967. I attended Henley High (Klamath Falls, OR) and Oregon State University. I have a daughter named Kaitlynn and husband Brian. My dogs are Zelda and Sugar Pop Pugalicious. My cats are Oreo Cookie, Speedy Dash and Sparkle Splash.

What I like about my job as a veterinarian is the variety of animals and getting to know the owners. In my free time I like to water-ski, camp, hike and general outdoor activities. Indoors I like reading.

I have visited Europe, Mexico, Eastern Caribbean, Alaska , the East Coast and I’ve been to Namibia, Africa. In ten years from now I hope to be halfway to retirement.

Launie T., Receptionist

I was born in Redding, California in 1978. I went to Estacada High School and after that I attended Clackamas Community College. My husband Jeff and I have three children. Their names are Daisy, Tyler, and Keri. We also have a range of pets. Two dogs with the name Riley and Jada, two cats with the name Jazz and Fergie, and three fish.

I love to witness the human-animal bond between our customers and their pets. That is my favorite part about my job. Outside of work I like to read, write, and photography. I also have fun with home improvement projects and watching my kids at their activities.

I really enjoy visiting the high desert and I would love to visit Costa Rica. I am hoping to earn my degree in teaching and be able to work with young children.

Suzanne V., Head Technician

I was born here in Portland, Oregon December 28th 1957. I went to Portland Community College and I am a certified vet technician. I have a daughter with the name Shauna and a black lab named Brandy.

I love spending my free time with my grand children and my dog. I love dancing and horseback riding.

What I like most about my job is the opportunity to help animals get well again.

Places I have visited are Hawaii, Canada and most of the United States while driving a long haul semi truck for our business. I am looking forward to retiring and enjoying my farm.

Jessica, Vet Tech Assistant

I was born in Portland, OR on April 21, 1987. My heritage is Irish, German, and American Indian (Choctaw). I went to Benson Polytechnic High School.

I have three dogs (Nova, Aiyden, and Venus) and two cats (Ms. Kitty and Aurora). In my spare time I love to scuba dive, do Karate and video games.

What I like about my job here is that I get to help make animals feel better. Sometimes all it takes is a little love and patience.

The most interesting place I've visited has to be Titlow Beach in Washington. That was the very first place I went scuba diving.

In 10 years from now hopefully I will have my RN and be finished with school and working in Emanuel or OHSU.
